That was before traveling to Egypt. Plastic water bottles were rampant. When clean water is not accessible, people turn to water sourced elsewhere and bottled in plastic, because it’s their main solution. Witnessing this limitation impressed up on us that the fight against plastic goes far beyond the much needed bans. We are in dire need of global change and it’s going to take a global effort. It’s time to help others along the way! In the meantime, as US residents, with unlimited access to fresh water and a few sets of Urban Market Bags, it’s our duty to be diligent beyond the elimination of single-use disposable bags, to help offset circumstances where it is not as easy to be diligent around other parts of the world.
